Salman Khan is certainly going through some bad time. With the entry of Hrithik and Arjun Ramphal into the picture, it looks like Salman is losing his grip and star status. So unless he gets a hit soon, he might be out of the picture before you know it! 

But Salman Khan has had some good films with David Dhawan and the industry hopes this new flick YEH HAI JALWA can do the trick for both Dhawan and Salman!

Salman Khan plays the role of a young businessman who is quite content in life but now he finds that it is high time he gets back one important thing that he is missing in life - his parents.

And so he embarks on a journey to find his parents and this brings him to a wealthy man Rishi Kapoor. But when he approaches Rishi with his tale, Rishi thinks that Salman is just a fraud with his eyes on his wealth. So it is upto Salman to prove that Rishi is his real dad and for that he is supported by his lady love Amisha Patel. 

Though it is a David Dhawan - Salman Khan combination, the movie is expected  not to be the usual wacky comedy that Salman usually does. This could be more on a more serious lines like the Govinda starrer KYO KII...MAIN JHUTH NAHIN BOLTHA. Though no one appreciated the more serious Govinda, but probably Salman will have better luck!

And to make things even worse, Amisha Patel is neither the same lucky mascot anymore. With already a string of flops to her credit, she will be really looking for this movie to do her some good. But then again, she does not seem to have much to do in this movie anyways.

Hopefully the special appearance from Sanjay Dutt might do a lot of good to this sinking boat.
