Script writer Renjith who is currently working on the Nandanam, looks like will not be doing the much-hyped Vargam with Mohanlal as nothing is shaping up as planned.

But Renjith will be bringing Mohanlal to your screens with the new movie, titled Akbar Chandrashekar. Incidentally, this movie will be produced by Renjith and actor Siddique, who also is currently the producers of Nandanam.

JAYARAJ AND MAMMOOTY TO TEAM UP

Director Jayaraj is planning to cast Mammooty in a very different and special role in his new movie, where the superstar will be playing the role of a 70 year old man. Jayaraj, known for making classy movies on a shoe-string budget this time hopes for bigger success with Mammooty.  Jayaraj was also the director of the Mammooty- starrer Johnny Walker.

Instead it seems like Jayaram and Suresh Gopi will team up once again. The last time the pair did so was in Sibi Malayil's Summer In Bethlehem.

SHOGUN vs  SWARGACHITRA BATTLE IT OUT

Shogun Films has bagged two of the forthcoming Mohanlal flicks while Swargachitra Films will have the rights for two new Mammooty films. 

While R.Mohan's SHOGUN films have rights to Onnaman and director Bhadran's Onam release Swarnam....Mammooty's Phantom Pailey and his possible Onam release Chronic Bachelor has been bagged by Swargachitra Films.

BHARATHAN's SON TO DEBUT

Late director Bharathan and veteran actress K.P.A.C Lalitha's son Sidharth will make his debut in the new film from director Kamal - titled NAMMAL.

K.MADHU IN FULL CONFIDENCE

With Nariman doing good business, director K.Madhu is a much happy man. Afterall a Suresh Gopi hit is something that many directors tried but failed for a long time. 

Though K.Madhu is planning a movie with Mohanlal, it looks like he will now instead start working on yet another Suresh Gopi film - titled Leader.
