Though earlier it was called PRATIBIMB now the shooting seems to be proceeding with no proper title fixed for the movie.

But bottomline the movie is supposed to be the sequel to the much appreciated Manjrekar- anjay Dutt action flick VAASTAV. 

Now the story continues with the son of the character that Sanjay Dutt played in the original while Namrata Shirodkar also returns as the mother. 

The new female lead is Shilpa Shetty while new cast members include Sharad Kapoor, Deepak Tajori and Om Puri. Sivaji Sattam, Reema Lagoo and Mohnish Behl all return from the original.

But Mahesh Manjrekar will not be promoting it as a sequel and he wants the movie to make sense to even those who have no clue what VAASTAV was all about. 

Sequels are something that Bollywood has always shied away from. So let us hope this will be the beginning of a new and healthy trend.
