Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan reteams once again after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. But Shahrukh also put in a spirited guest appearance in Salman's  Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega.

But now this time both are sharing the screen presence in this new movie titled Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, which was initially named Hum Aapke Hain Sanam. And the lady that stays as the center of affection is Madame Madhuri Dixit.

The movie was started some years ago, and for some reason or the other, the shooting could only progres at a slow pace. and then with the arrest of Bharath Shah, early last year, things took another set back.

Suraj (Salman Khan) and Radha (Madhuri Dixit) are great buddies, and great friends who share a wonderful platonic relationship. Suraj is a jolly, laid back guy who openly discusses everything to Radha including his career and even the girl he talks on the phone with, his mysterious lover.

Radha lives with her mother and her younger brother (Atul Kulkarni). But with an untimely death of their mother, Radha and her brother reunites with their father (alok Nath) who gets them married to his old friend's son Devnarayan (Shahrukh). And no one could be more happy about Radha's marriage than her good friend Suraj.

Devnarayan is obviously happy to be married to Radha but the problem begins to spring up when Suraj continues to keep his relationship and friendliness with Radha and Devnarayan begin to hate the idea. The closeness that Radha and Suraj shares begins to create suspicion in Devnarayan's mind and everything that his wife mentions about Suraj is taken in the wrong way.

The things get so much beyond Devnarayan's patience that he decides to split with Radha. And it is only then that even Suraj decides how wrong he was in his behavior. So now Suraj tries to reunite the couple, and his mysterious phone lover also comes onto scene to help Suraj out.

Also in the backdrop is another lovestory between Radha's brother (Atul Kulkarni) and Devnarayan's sister (Suman Ranganathan).

So as you can see, the movie isn't exactly a love triangle, but more of a rather mature sensitive family drama and a look into relationships. While Salman will play a very jovial character, Shahrukh will be more of the brooding kind. Hope it does not drive the SRK fans away?

But the movie is more of a Madhuri film with she having the strongest role from the start to finish. So you can expect Mads to upstage both the Khans single handedly.

There is also another love track that has Madhuri's brother falling in love with Shahrukh's sister in the film, and I am not sure who will be playing those roles as yet.

Aishwarya Rai is to play the guest role in the film.

The movie is supposedly a remake of a Tamil film starring Revathy, Karthik and Raghuvaran.

Well, though it might help Salman's career a lot if the movie works, and for the rest of the cast, well and good, then they still have DEVDAS to look forward to!
