It was certainly a LAGAAN nite all throughout, but Aamir known for not attending any award functions never showed up either. But his wife Reena certainly was there.

For the first time, Zee has discarded their public voting system and a had a proper panel deciding on the winners. Still ZEE guys are just aiming to keep everyone happy. As a result there is a special award for deserving candidates like Sunny Deol, Kajol and one even for Farhan Akhtar and Mira Nair.

And Tusshar gets the Newcomer award and sadly not Arjun Ramphal, who despite three flops could easily give any top actor a run for their money!
